The secret staircase

On the ground floor of Dalenstein there is a second entrance next to the main staircase; a staircase that used to be intended for "the staff". Carefully finished and hidden (sometime in the last century this staff staircase was used to hide electricity and other pipes), but still intact. You used to be able to climb the stairs through the high round door. There is now a closet space behind it. The 2nd staircase (bottom) is visible through the door to the basement. On the 1st floor there is a hatch in the stairwell under a cupboard where the stairs used to come out. Now a kitchenette has been built in the stairwell for guests of the Blue Room.
